Reflections of an Air Warrior provides a birds eye view of three critical areas that cover the entire spectrum of an air warrior’s career involving Flight Safety & Operations, Leadership and Air Power. By sharing his varied experiences in the field in a forthright, lucid and informal style, and expressing his opinion on issues that range from grass root flight safety issues, ethics & values in Military Leadership to Strategic Air Power, the author hopes that this book would not only serve as a ready reckoner for middle level leaders like Flight Commanders and Commanding Officers, but also as meaningful feedback for senior leadership. Arjun Subramaniam Group Captain Arjun Subramaniam was commissioned into the fighter stream of the IAF in December 1981. He is an alumnus of Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) and National Defence Academy. An experienced fighter pilot with over 3000 hours on various types of fighter aircraft that include two variants of the MiG-21 and the Mirage-2000, he is a Qualified Flying Instructor and has commanded a MiG-21 Squadron. He has also been the Chief Operations Officer of a SU-30 base and is presently a senior faculty member at The Defence Services Staff College, Wellington.
