Pravin Jadhav and Parashram Patil

Dr Pravin Jadhav is an accomplished trade policy researcher and Associate Professor of Economics, currently serving as the Head of the Humanities and Social Science Department at the Institute of Infrastructure, Technology, Research, and Management (IITRAM), Ahmedabad, under the Government of Gujarat. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from IIFT, New Delhi, where he contributed to key trade projects for the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the European Union. His research focuses on international trade, foreign direct investment, and export competitiveness, with special attention to India’s sectoral trade strategies. He currently leads an ICSSR-funded project on enhancing the export potential of AYUSH products under Vision Viksit Bharat@2047. Dr Jadhav has authored six books, published extensively in reputed journals, and received several accolades, including the Young Achiever Award for FDI research. His work actively supports trade facilitation and export growth policy initiatives.

Dr Parashram Patil, an Indian agricultural economist, is a renowned international expert in agriculture and natural resources economics. Rising from an agricultural laborer to a global authority, he holds a Doctorate from Shivaji University and a Post-Doctorate from Savitribai Phule University. Currently, he serves as Senior Advisor Agriculture for Maharashtra’s government, Independent Director at Maharashtra State Cashew Board, and APEDA Board Member. As Chairman of The Institute for Natural Resources and founder of Western Ghat Agro & Forest Museum, he drives innovation. With eight books, numerous research papers, and extensive policy advisory experience, Dr Patil shapes agriculture, trade, and climate change strategies, impacting governments, corporates, and farmers.
