Subhadeep Bhattacharya is a PhD candidate at the Department of History, University of Calcutta. He has done his M.Phil on Foreign Policy Studies from the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies (IFPS), University of Calcutta. His field of interest is Southeast and East Asian geopolitics. He has co-edited the book titled India and Southeast Asia: States, Borders and Culture with Dr. Arpita Basu Roy and has contributed in few edited volumes and in the IFPS website. He is currently the Fellow at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies (MAKAIAS).
