Ashish Shukla is a Research Fellow at the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA). Prior to joining ICWA, Dr Shukla was associated with Institute for Defence Studies and Analyses (IDSA). He holds a Ph.D in South Asian Studies from Centre for South Asian Studies, Jawaharalal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has a number of publications to his credit including two single-author books, chapters in edited books and journal articles.
